Vratsa region

It is huge cliff close to Vratsa – 130km northeast from Sofia, the second biggest climbing area in Bulgaria. This place is very popular among the trad and bolted multipitch lovers. The main cliff is about 350m high, as the vast majority of the routes here are trad and very few are bolted, otherwise on the lower surrounded rocks are set bolted routes with length till 5 pitches. In the region around are situated some of the most famous crags for hard sport routes. Thanks to the effort of Nikolay Petkov, his team and many people providers of information we have the only one at this moment paper climbing guide book issued in Bulgaria with actual contemporary information, it is about region of Vrasta. Definitely you could spend whole year here and you still had not climbed everything. Highly recommended.
