The newest sport climbing crag in Bulgaria had been opened last weekend with a meeting – competition. Over 60 participants took part in it and most of the new routes got its ascents and assessment, but some prove to be very hard and still are waiting for first ascent and grade.

This is the third granite sport’s crag after Borovets and Komini

The village of Kostenets is located about 80km southeast from Sofia in the sкirts of Rila mountain. Only 5 minutes approach from the parking, where is situated thermal mineral water pool where you can relax after climbing or during your rest day. The rocks are on both sides in the valley of river Stara reka, right above the waterfall.
