The valley of Malyovitsa is called “The cradle of bulgarian  alpinism”. Here had begun every climber, who later headed to the high mountains.

Located around 90 km from Sofia in the heart of Rila mountain it is region with alpine landscape in altitude between 2000 to 2700 m. It offer coolness in the Summer heat and perfect firm rock. You have an opportunity to choose different faces of walls depends on the day, either in sun or in shade. With approach from 1 till 4 hours you reach your preferable route and the only one, what you have left is to climb and enjoy the astonishing view from surrounded cliffs. Most of the routes require experience in the trad climbing, although some of the routes are bolted multipitches. One length pitch routes are very few, in 15 min from hut Malyovitsa, and they are used commonly for teaching.  Also close to the hut are situated three boulders for the rest day and by inappropriate weather conditions.

Average length of the routes 150-200m. Difficulties from 4a to 7c.
